On what was a full day for Maine track and field with the squad split between the Penn Relays and the Wildcat Invitational II, junior thrower Wilson Adams highlighted the day, breaking a 50-year-old record in the hammer throw, at the Penn Relays at Franklin field. Adams bested Richard Nason s mark as the Black Bears capped a successful trip at the historic Penn Relay.
